Are you up for a challenge?
If you’re looking for a challenge and would like to support the work we do to help bereaved children and their families, then we’ve got some great suggestions for you!
We love seeing our supporters having fun and achieving personal goals while raising much appreciated funds for HOLG.
Here’s a round-up of just a few of the events you could take part in over the next few months:
KM Big Bike Ride, Sunday 18th April
Starting and finishing at Cyclopark Gravesend, participants will have the choice of either a 50km or 100km route passing through spectacular Kent countryside. A great challenge for cyclists of all abilities! Spaces are strictly limited so be sure to book soon!
KM Firewalk, Friday 30th April
Definitely not one for the faint hearted! We know many of our wonderful supporters go to great lengths to raise money for HOLG but would you be willing to literally walk over hot coals? That’s exactly what participants in the ‘hottest walk of 2021’ are being asked to do! This is sure to be a thrilling and exciting event – sign up here.
The Vitality 10km, May
You can either run in London on May 31st, the Bank Holiday weekend, or run at home or around where you live from May 29th – June 6th.
Let us know if you’re running for us and we’ll send you a HOLG T-shirt!
The Virgin Money London Marathon, Sunday 3rd October
One of the biggest annual charity events, this is a challenge on many people’s bucket list – why not make this the year you tick it off? Ballot places are all filled but charity places are still available. You’ll need to raise at least £3,000 and this can be via online donations, quizzes, raffles, collection bowls and mini events. Just send us your reasons for taking part and how you’ll fundraise and we’ll choose the most suitable candidates. Find out more here
Of course, there are many other ways you can help to raise funds for HOLG and we love seeing all the creative challenges and events our supporters participate in.
If you’re taking part in any of the above or have your own fundraising ideas – thank you and good luck!
